Hello and welcome to Airline Profits Executive Interviews. I am Kofi Sonokpon, Managing Editor of Airline profits magazine and author of the recent book series on airline business and technology, namely Airlines for Business and Airlines for Technology.

Today, we have a double privilege and honor to welcome Uschi Schulte-Sasse, our very first female and German special guest to our series of interviews. Based in Aachen, Germany, the Aviation Division of INFORM GmbH is a leading global provider of advanced optimization solutions for the airline industry. You may have never heard of this company, but it serves most of the largest airlines and some of the most profitable air carriers on the planet.

In today’s interview, our focus is to find out how INFORM GmbH Aviation Division are taking advantage of software solutions as a competitive edge to get ahead. We will also be asking our guest to share her perspective on whether airlines are taking full advantage of technology to optimize revenues, to become more cost-efficient and especially to enhance passenger experience.

With that, I invite you to say tune until the end to hear what our special guest, Uschi Schulte-Sasse, has to say.
